Company Background

Ashley Thaba, an American, moved to Botswana in 2000 as a representative of the International Mission Board with the Baptist Church. Originally, she came to work with youth in government schools to work on character development. She worked in the government secondary schools of Francistown for her first 2 years in Botswana.

In Francistown, she met and married Percy, a Motswana man, who holds a degree from Carleton University, Ottawa Canada, in computer engineering. He is also a certified and esteemed PRINCE2 and PMP Project Manager.

She and her husband have spent the last 20+ years actively involved in various church and community projects meant to help strengthen families, marriages, businesses, churches, etc.

Over time Ashley Thaba became a well-known motivational speaker, popular author, and recognized voice in the media. In 2018, Ashley and her husband decided to create Ashley Thaba Productions (Pty) Ltd. as a formal way of deciding to take their desire to make a positive impact in the country to a greater level. The desire was to use the platform of media production to encourage as many people as possible by offering practical advice to the general public.

Our Name

Ashley Thaba Productions (Pty) Ltd. was named after Ashley Thaba because it was her media work, her creativity and her desire to follow God’s call to make a difference which inspired the company to start in the first place. The couple seeks God’s direction and guidance on any project they undertake.
